Peggy Killian

Peggy delivers several years of experience as an agency veteran to her work as an account supervisor. Her previous position with Fleishman-Hillard included consulting on a wide variety of all the major communications disciplines – internal communications, media relations, issues management, special events coordination, grassroots/political action and donor relations.

She has developed national public safety education campaigns; coordinated communications strategy surrounding major corporate announcements; written annual reports, employee publications and identity pieces; planned shareholder meetings; media trained executives of publicly traded companies; and led the communications efforts for grassroots campaigns. Included among her most notable accomplishments is the creation of a child auto safety brochure that has been distributed through police and fire stations across the country for the past 12 years.

In her role at Common Ground Public Relations, Peggy guides the strategy and implementation of several client campaigns. She asks the right questions and delves deeply to provide the right counsel at the right time. In turn, her insights create fertile relationships with journalists to secure impressive national media coverage for our clients.

She earned her bachelor's degree in public relations at Drake University and her master's degree in corporate public relations from Northwestern University.
